Lucy Moore Foundation seeks to create healing, understanding

Raphael Montoliu interviewed Clayton Duncan, who created the Lucy Moore Foundation, in honor of his great-grandmother. Lucy Moore was one of the few people to have survived the Bloody Island Massacre. She was only six years old when she hid under the water, breathing through a reed, to escape Captain Nathaniel Lyon and his forces. The Lucy Moore Foundation hopes to educate the public about the massacre and memorialize the site of the mass grave.
